West Africa
Daniel and Adam worked with the NYU in Ghana Program, a Jewish community in the Western Region, the Children’s Christian Storehouse Conservatory in Accra, as well as working with students from NYU-in-Ghana and University of Ghana, Legon at schools in Buduburam, the former UNHCR Liberian refugee camp.

Indonesia
Adam was invited to teach dance classes, lead teacher trainings, and choreograph for Namarina Youth Dance of Jakarta, Indonesia. His commissioned work, “Pathways,” opened in November, 2008 to rave reviews.
Middle East
Adam has received the 2008 Jerome Foundation Travel and Study Grant to work with Beta Dance Troupe, an Ethiopian-Israeli Dance Company based at the University of Haifa, and other Ethiopian-Israeli communities, using dance as a catalyst toward social and systemic change. Daniel will be using Hip Hop Theatre as a means for community building and self-expression with Arab and Jewish Israelis.

We catalyze performance and action through the arts in the intersecting communitites in which we live and work. In our work, art = ritual = healing = community. We believe that this philosophy and practice lead to a more peaceful world.
